Residents complete their first-year hospital rotations with the intern class of the St. Peter Family Medicine Residency Program at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. This provides training in a larger hospital setting during the PGY-1 year. Second and third-year rotations are predominately completed at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA, a smaller hospital where residents are provided more autonomy. Residents have inpatient and obstetrical rotations in all three years to develop and maintain the skills needed to continue practicing full-spectrum medicine after graduation.
