
As a child, Dr. Bista wanted to be a radio jockey. She loved the idea of talking to strangers, asking about their day, listening to how they felt, and even playing their favorite songs. She would spend hours pretending to host her own show. What she loved most was not the performance itself, but the ability to connect with people. She did not realize it then, but this passion for genuine connection would later become the foundation of her career in medicine.
She is also a passionate dancer, and dance has taught her the values of discipline, repetition, and perseverance. These qualities have deeply influenced her approach to both life and medicine. The dedication required to perfect each movement has shaped her mindset, teaching her to never give up and to continually strive for excellence.

Dr. Bowa was born and raised in Zambia and attended medical school in Dalian,
China. After graduation, while working in an HIV treatment clinic in a
semi-rural town in Zambia, she appreciated the value of the long-term
relationships she built with patients. In the Pacific Northwest, she serves
as an Alzheimer’s Association Community Educator with a passion
for empowering small communities.
Her current clinical interests include Lifestyle Medicine, Geriatrics,
Dementia Care, HIV Medicine, and Obesity Medicine. In her spare time,
she enjoys spending time with her family, trying new recipes, hiking to
waterfalls, and working on her hair-braiding skills.

Dr. Delarosa values meaningful connections with people and the opportunity to support patients through every stage of life. He is drawn to family medicine because it allows him to build long-term relationships, care for individuals and families as a whole, and serve as a consistent source of support and guidance within a community.
He hopes to be the kind of physician who makes patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable, regardless of their background or circumstances. He cares deeply about creating a welcoming environment where patients feel safe asking questions and actively participating in their care.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys staying active, watching and playing soccer, learning languages, and spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoys practicing Spanish and learning about different cultures, both of which have helped him connect more personally with others.

Dr. Dulay was born and raised in Surrey, BC, Canada. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Simon Fraser University and became the first in his family to pursue medical school. His passion for family medicine was ignited during his clerkship, where he had the opportunity to coordinate care for some of the most underserved patients in Chicago. Dr. Dulay is dedicated to forming long-term, meaningful relationships with patients and providing care through a holistic and compassionate lens. He is thrilled to return to the Pacific Northwest for residency and looks forward to exploring all the outdoor adventures the region has to offer. Outside of medicine, Dr. Dulay enjoys staying active through sports, hiking, and exercising. He also loves cooking and spending quality time with his wife, family, and friends.

Dr. Lopez hails from León, Guanajuato, Mexico. She emigrated to
the United States at the age of 18 and pursued her education at Washington
State University, where she earned multiple degrees with a focus on molecular
biology and medicine… Go Cougs!
Dr. Lopez is passionate about family medicine, particularly in underserved
settings. She is deeply committed to addressing the life circumstances
that affect personal health. Her clinical interests include addiction
medicine, genetics, and chronic disease management.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Lopez enjoys cooking, spending time in nature,
practicing yoga, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.
She believes in building relationships with patients rooted in compassion,
respect, and an understanding of each person’s life story.

Dr. Vyhmeister was born and raised in Washington State, spending most of
their life in Wenatchee, WA. She attended Whitworth University in Spokane,
WA, where she studied biochemistry and played on the golf team. Dr. Vyhmeister
later pursued her medical education at Washington State University Elson
S. Floyd College of Medicine. Drawn to primary care for its emphasis on
forming relationships and building lasting connections with patients,
she found themselves enjoying all aspects of patient care throughout medical
school. Ultimately, she was attracted to family medicine due to its broad
scope and the opportunity to build long-term, multigenerational relationships
with patients.
Dr. Vyhmeister's medical interests include women’s health, pediatric
care, and lifestyle medicine. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending
time outdoors, reading, crocheting, cuddling her cat Patches, and spending
time with friends and family.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Achille earned her undergraduate degree in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. She then gained valuable experience working as a health coach and yoga instructor, which helped her establish a holistic view of wellness. Her passion for partnering with clients to achieve their goals led her to further explore how lifestyle can change medical outcomes and longevity. Throughout her training at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Achille gained a deep appreciation for the crucial role mental health plays in family medicine. Influenced by studies on adverse childhood experiences and books such as When the Body Says No, Dr. Achille has developed an understanding of the connection between the mind and overall health. She is committed to supporting individuals with behavioral health conditions, sensitivities, or marginalized identities. By fostering genuine connections with her patients, she believes health can be reimagined through nonjudgmental awareness and an ethos of compassion. Dr. Achille eagerly anticipates advocating for patients who face barriers to personalized care, including those affected by psychological challenges and chronic illness. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys engaging in gymnastic-inspired activities, running, listening to soulful music, painting, dancing, and exploring the world of nutritional gastronomy. She cherishes spending time in nature alongside her beloved greyhound, Jojo.

Dr. Gavin grew up in Sunnyside, Washington, where her passion for serving
rural communities began.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Washington State University, where
she co-managed a small herd of dairy cattle and taught human anatomy.
She also studied Spanish including time living in Spain to immerse herself
in the language and culture. During medical school, she participated in
a program at the Hazelden Betty Ford Center, deepening her understanding
of addiction as a disease. She also dedicated a year to focusing on osteopathic
manipulative treatment (OMT) and teaching at the medical school.
She has cherished memories of visiting her extended family in Lewis County
and is thrilled to be here for her residency training. Dr. Gavin’s
clinical interests include lifestyle medicine, OMT, addiction medicine,
hospice care, lactation and breastfeeding, and natural family planning.
She is committed to building strong partnerships with her patients, combining
their personal insights with her medical expertise to create care plans
tailored to their unique needs.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Gavin enjoys spending quality time with her husband,
daughter, family, and friends, as well as crafting homemade food and beverages.

Dr. Jones was born in Pullman, WA and moved to Phoenix, AZ at a young age. She studied neurobiology, physiology, and behavior at Arizona State University which is where she was first introduced to the field of addiction psychology. Throughout undergrad and later during medical school, she volunteered with Sonoran Prevention Works, a harm reduction group in Tempe. Her interest in addiction medicine is part of what drew her to the field of family medicine, along with the desire to connect with and form long-lasting patient relationships. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her cat DJ, scoping out cool breweries with her partner, and making art.

Dr. Negrete was born on the East Coast and raised on the West Coast, primarily in Southern California and Northern Washington. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Seattle Pacific University and a Master of Arts in Medical Sciences from Heritage University. She subsequently pursued her medical degree at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, WA. During her medical education, Dr. Negrete actively contributed to volunteer efforts at Washington State's largest free clinic, focusing on reducing barriers to healthcare access. She is passionate about caring for underserved populations and enhancing equity in healthcare delivery. Medical interests include full-scope family medicine practice, OMT, and procedures. In her personal time, Dr. Negrete enjoys reading, going on walks with her dog and cat, watching crime dramas, attending concerts, playing board games, and spending quality time with her family.

Dr. Reitz grew up in Eagle River Alaska and developed a love for outdooring, hunting, fishing, and boating. When Dr. Reitz can't be outside he enjoys video gaming, wood working, and maintaining the 1950's Jeep FC that he inherited from his grandfather. He has been happily married for 2 years to his wife Katie. It is his hope to someday return to the land of his birth and provide rural focused healthcare to a small town or village near where he can spend his free time walking in the woods or out on the water.
