Our residency program is committed to fostering an environment of inquiry and scholarship among our residents which is actively promoted by our learning culture.

During their three years of residency, each of our residents will present a clinical vignette, quality improvement, or research abstract at the Oregon Chapter Meeting of the American College of Physicians or the Northwest Regional Meeting for the Society of General Internal Medicine, and they have enjoyed unprecedented success for a program of any size.

Our residents frequently earn awards for their excellence in these regional presentations and several participate in national conferences each year. We even had a PGY2 resident who was the 2017 National ACP Health Policy Intern in D.C.
