Borland Free Clinic

Twice a month, residents from Providence St. Vincent Medical Center rotate through the Borland Free Clinic, where they provide both urgent and primary care services to a diverse group of underserved patients. This partnership offers residents a unique opportunity to engage directly with community members who face barriers to accessing consistent healthcare, allowing them to apply their clinical training in a setting that emphasizes compassion, equity, and service.

During these rotations, residents gain valuable experience managing a wide range of medical concerns, from acute illnesses to chronic conditions, all while working alongside dedicated clinic staff and volunteers. The collaboration not only strengthens the clinic’s capacity to serve its patients but also fosters a deeper understanding among residents of the social determinants of health and the importance of community-based care in improving health outcomes.
