Born & raised in Washington State, Dr. Okubo was fortunate to complete his medical training at Pacific Northwest University in Yakima, WA. He obtained a B.S. in Chemistry at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA, where he was a member of the men's tennis team. Before medical school, he worked as a medical scribe for community health centers in King County. Dr. Okubo has particular interests in lifestyle medicine, sports medicine, and preventative care. He values the continuity of care of family medicine and is eager to give back to the communities that raised him here in Washington State. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, razor clamming, playing pickleball, and weightlifting.
