Resident MA

While in continuity clinic, residents are assigned a medical assistant who will work with them all three years of residency. Having the same medical assistant during continuity clinic helps create a great work flow!

Hospital inpatient service

Residents work and learn from two different inpatient adult-medicine teams at St. Peter. R1/R2s rotate with the Providence St. Peter Hospitalists (PSPH). R1s also rotate with an SPFM faculty and R3 on the family medicine service, which is comprised of SPFM residency clinic patients who are admitted to the hospital. The SPFM inpatient-adult team normally has Sub-Is and medical students from PNWU or UW as well. R2/R3s admit PSPH and SPFM medicine patients overnight, R2s are in house and R3s take call from home.
