Osteopathic Recognition

St. Peter Family Medicine was one of the first programs to have Osteopathic recognition in Washington state. We are affiliated with Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Yakima, Washington.

• Manipulation Clinic is held 2-3 times per month where two DO residents and an osteopathic faculty see patients together for a one-on-one teaching experience
• SPFM accepts OMT referrals from various clinics in the Olympia area
• Monthly OMT didactics and hands-on lab
• Dedicated OMT room with OMT Hi-Lo tables
• We encourage our DO residents to practice OMT in their continuity clinic
• Exposure to alternative therapies including a core faculty doing acupuncture
