Erin grew up in Salem, Oregon, and has spent much of her recent life in Portland, where she completed her undergraduate education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Concordia University. Before attending medical school, she worked as a nurse on an inpatient oncology unit. She went on to earn her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University. Erin chose family medicine because of the many opportunities it offers for both teaching and learning, with patients serving as the most valuable teachers of all. As a family physician, her primary goal is to be a trusted partner in helping her patients achieve their health goals. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family—attending swim lessons, going on hikes, or taking neighborhood strolls to watch for birds.
