Hillary Brodin

Senior Manager Clinic Operations, Chehalis Family Medicine and St Peter Family Medicine, Institutional GME Coordinator

Growing up as a military dependent, Hillary Brodin experienced diverse cultures and communities, relocating frequently both nationally and internationally before settling in Olympia, Washington in 2000. After completing high school, Hillary pursued a career in healthcare, obtaining her certification as a nationally certified Medical Assistant. She dedicated over a decade to working in the field, with a significant tenure at Providence Hawks Prairie Family Medicine. Her hands-on experience in frontline healthcare profoundly shaped her understanding of patient care and clinic operations. In 2019, Hillary was promoted to Supervisor of Clinic Operations at West Olympia Family Medicine. There, she played a crucial role in overseeing a large department and supported the facility's expansion efforts. By 2022, Hillary advanced to Manager of Clinic Operations for Neurosciences and Vascular Surgery, a role that came with increased responsibilities and the challenge of balancing her professional growth with academic pursuits as she commenced her bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration. Most recently, in July 2024, Hillary was appointed as the Senior Manager of Operations for the St. Peter Family Medicine and Chehalis Family Medicine residency programs. This role has allowed her to fully engage with her passion for advocacy and support for healthcare teams. Understanding the challenges faced by front-line caregivers firsthand, Hillary is dedicated to fostering an environment that emphasizes growth, development, and the recognition of individual strengths. During her free time, Hillary enjoys adventuring with her husband and son around the PNW, sourdough baking, reading, or snuggling up for a movie night.
