Dr. Kreger was born in Houston, TX but moved to El Paso, TX, at a young
age. In his life before medicine, he held many jobs. He has had many experiences
from different walks of life, from massage therapist to financial counselor,
gas station clerk to microbiologist, concert promoter to toxicologist,
and even working as a financial counselor and microbiology tech at Providence
St. Peter Hospital. Dr. Kreger studied biology at St. Martin University
in Lacey, WA, and attended medical school at Burrell College of Osteopathic
Medicine at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. During medical
school, he was the president of the family medicine club. He served on
the board of the New Mexico Academy of Family Medicine, where he was involved
in helping his local and statewide community. Service to local communities
drove Dr. Kreger to family medicine and continues to motivate him. During
his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf poorly,
pretending to be a musician, and finding new and exciting food and drink.
