Mrs. Waller grew up in Southern California. She earned her ADN/RN in Long Beach California at the age of 23, then subsequently worked as an RN in Oncology, Medical/Surgical and Home Health. She and her family later moved to Washington State where she was employed as a School Nurse for the Yelm School District. After several years with the Yelm School District, Mrs. Waller went back to school and successfully earned her Bachelors and Masters in Nursing. She began working with St. Peter Family Medicine Residency Program as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2010. She believes in caring for the underserved, uninsured and delivering cost effective medical care with emphasis on health promotion. She is passionate about building trusting relationships and promoting a team-based approach to care, where patients feel comfortable expressing and engaging in aspects of their treatment. In her free time, she enjoys home improvement projects, gardening, traveling and trying new restaurants and exploring new food options—she pretty much is a foodie. She especially enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and friends.
