We are fortunate to practice in a wonderful, well staffed and modern Critical
Access Hospital, Inpatient care is provided at
Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital, a 25 bed Critical Access hospital with full services including: Emergency
Department with over 10,000 visits/year; Medical, Surgical and Pediatric
services; and a Family Birth Center that delivers 400 babies a year.
Our residents care for patients in every service area of the hospital. This includes our Medical Surgical Unit with a adjacent 4 bed ICU, a complete maternity unit with birthing suites and a standing operative room, surgical suites with three full operative rooms and an endoscopy suite and a very busy emergency room with 12 patients rooms and 2 trauma bays. Care at our facility is team based and our physicians and patients are supported by on-site physical therapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, social workers, hospice and spiritual care.
Our radiology department features full imaging capability include CT and MRI scanning, nuclear medicine and standard radiology, ultrasound and diagnostic imaging and procedures.
The hospital also boasts a Cancer Center with two oncologists as well as a renal dialysis unit.
