Why I stay with Providence: I have worked with Providence for over 10 years. I feel fortunate to witness and have a role in the interdisciplinary collaboration that occurs in ambulatory care to help care for patients. Also, it doesn’t hurt that I get to work with a team makes me laugh and pushes me to keep learning as a clinical pharmacist!

Why I stay with Providence: It is rare to find a mix of coworkers and colleagues who share similar values on healthcare and education. I have found that here in Chehalis, and appreciate how our team strives for excellence in all aspects of care.

Exploring Washington: Exhausting myself trying to find the best fishing hubs around Olympia area and hiking in Olympic National Park! In addition, Mount Rainier is breathtaking around later Spring.

Exploring Washington: There is too much to share! You can get a taste of Washington driving through the Cascade Loop Scenic Byway, a gorgeous 440 mile drive through some of the best spots in Washington. My favorite stop may be the Bavarian village, Leavenworth.

Why I stay with Providence: I stay with Providence because they have a tangible and true commitment to serving our community, including the poor and vulnerable.
Hometown: I grew up in the Bay Area and spent my secondary education in Sacramento, CA. I also lived in Denver, CO for 11 years; Portland, OR for 3 years; and now Tumwater, WA. I consider all of these places my hometowns as I have family, friends, and memories in each location.
Training: No formal training, but many years working in the hospitality industry and then healthcare. I love helping people!
Favorite hobbies: Jewelry making, painting, walking, spending time with my husband and daughter, DIY house upgrades/fixes, and enjoying nature.
Exploring Washington: There are so many places to explore! I enjoy being able to find so many different types of activities in nearby. You can go for hikes, visit the beach, kayak on the bay, and travel to a major metropolitan city all within close proximity.

Exploring Washington: I love how centrally located Olympia is – it’s less than two hours away from really fun places like Seattle, Portland, Pacific Ocean, and Mount Rainier.
Why I stay with Providence: I strongly believe in the core values of the organization, and I can see these core values put into practice with many of the caregivers I’ve worked with at Providence. I’ve also had the pleasure to create wonderful working relationships with my patients, and the ability to witness their ongoing success is very rewarding.
