At Providence St. Peter Hospital (PSPH) and Providence Centralia Hospital
(PCH), we are committed to advancing clinical pharmacy services, and our
residency programs are a corner stone in that work. The patient is at
the center of everything we do; it’s a philosophy Providence supports
across the organization. Through our PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, you will
have the opportunity to develop the skills and experience necessary to
succeed in a clinical practice setting.
Our Residency Vision Statement:
We are committed to the growth and development of residents as they transition from student to clinical pharmacist.
Residents who complete our program are competent, compassionate, resilient professionals who are trusted by the healthcare team and embrace innovation.
They are confident in advocating for best practice utilizing clinical knowledge and evidence-based medicine. They contribute to excellence as lifelong learners and educators with an outward focus.
As a resident, you’ll benefit from our exceptional training program that takes advantage of the wide variety of learning experiences within both acute and ambulatory care settings. You’ll find our residency program unique in two ways. First, everything you learn about pharmacy practice will be based in our patient-centered mission of providing compassionate care. Second, you will be part of one of the most progressive pharmacy teams in a major West Coast healthcare system.
