Student Rotations

Providence St. Peter Hospital Family Medicine Chehalis Rural Training Program offers several rotations for students from allopathic and osteopathic medical schools.

Clerkships

For third and fourth-year medical students: If you are considering a career as a family physician, this opportunity will provide exposure to an excellent training program. We strive to help you become more independent as the rotation progresses and to learn the joys of doctor-patient interactions in a patient-centered medical home.

Sub-internships

For fourth-year medical students: An advanced rotation of 4 weeks duration for those who wish to expand their skills in either inpatient or ambulatory medicine is available for fourth-year medical students interested in family medicine. The rotation can be tailored to your needs as you work with our residents in the hospital, the office or a mixture of the two. We welcome your participation in all aspects of the program during your time with us.

Note: Unfortunately, we can only provide educational experiences for students currently in medical school, we cannot provide education experiences for medical school graduates.

Apply: If you are interested in applying for a clerkship or sub-internship, you may fill out an application and email it along with your CV to Lisa-Ann Roura. Complete applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
