Do you have osteopathic faculty and residents?

We currently have osteopathic residents in our program. Please visit our Meet our Faculty and Residents Page. We have osteopathic community preceptors and faculty from St Peter Family Medicine who work closely with our osteopathic residents during the Osteopathic Manipulation Specialty Clinic at Chehalis Family Medicine.

Do you require osteopathic applicants to take the USMLE Step Exams?

No, we do not require osteopathic applicants to take the USMLE Step Exams.

What kind of Osteopathic Training do you provide?

Osteopathic residents participate in our robust Osteopathic Manipulation Clinic at Chehalis Family Medicine. This is precepted by our Osteopathic faculty from the Providence St Peter Family Medicine Chehalis Rural Training Program and the St Peter Family Medicine Residency. Residents participate in shared didactics and workshops at St Peter Family Medicine Residency focusing on Osteopathic techniques. Residents will get experience teaching osteopathic medical students.

Do you have Osteopathic Recognition thru the ACGME?

No, we do not have Osteopathic recognition, however, our residents work closely with the St Peter Family Medicine Residency throughout all three years including shared didactics and workshops which include Osteopathic training. St Peter Family Medicine Residency received Osteopathic recognition in 2016 with continued accreditation through 2028.
