Kadlec Family Medicine Residency (KFMR) is located in Richland, WA. We are operated by Kadlec Regional Medical Center (KRMC), serving patients since 1944, and affiliated with Providence Health and Services since 2014. Providence is the region's largest private employer and medical provider and has brought important support to Kadlec. In July of 2015, we opened the doors to KFMR and welcomed our first residents.

KFMR is affiliated with the WWAMI Family Medicine Network. The WWAMI Network is based at the University of Washington in Seattle and comprised of thirty family medicine residency programs across five northwestern states. This large collaborative program provides significant resources to train residents and faculty with an emphasis on evidence-based medicine, equity, and inclusion.

Kadlec Family Medicine Residency is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education of the American Medical Association.

Our program is dedicated to quality and innovative training in a supportive setting. We serve a culturally and economically diverse population across Southeastern Washington and Northeastern Oregon.
