Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Track (CAPT)
Psychiatry Residency Spokane (PRS) prides itself on graduating well-rounded
clinicians with broad psychiatric experience who can confidently serve
diverse communities and individuals across the lifespan. To this end,
we believe that categorical training should offer robust child and adolescent
psychiatry (CAP) exposure. CAPT is intended for residents who wish to
have expanded child and adolescent training experiences and for those
interested in completing a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship.
Working with Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Spokane (CAPFS),
CAPT offers unique clinical opportunities throughout core training and
regular engagement with child and adolescent faculty and fellows. Of note,
this is not a formal NRMP track but rather an internal interest track
that residents can choose to participate in or exit at any point in their
training.
