How to Apply

Every year, we select three residents. Only applicants who are enrolled in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) will be considered for first year positions in these programs.

The NRMP Match Number 3198120C1 must be used when ranking the Providence St. Peter Chehalis Rural Training Program. This distinguishes our rural training program from our partner residency program at Providence St. Peter Family Medicine Program in Olympia, WA.

Applications are reviewed in the order they are submitted, so we encourage you to apply early. We only accept applications and materials through ERAS.

Interviews are conducted Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in October and November. We will contact you via Thalamus to schedule an interview only after your application is complete and has been reviewed.

All pre-interview communications will come via ERAS. Our interviews are conducted virtually within Thalamus as well as in person.

Minimum requirements:

  • Have passed within two attempts:
    • USMLE Part I and Part II CK OR
    • COMLEX Part 1 and Part 2 CE
