Salary

Fellow salaries are the same at all Providence hospitals and are competitive with other fellowship programs in Portland and the Pacific NW. Your salary does not include compensation for medical, dental, liability, life insurance, and other additional paid benefits.

Effective salaries for Academic Year 2022 – 2023:

  • PGY 4+ $78, 382

Annual stipends and reimbursements:

  • $2250 housing stipend, payable in bi-weekly installments
  • $500 wellness stipend, payable in the first check of the contract year
  • $2250 meal stipend, front-loaded at the beginning of the contract year
  • $2500 CME/conference travel stipend, available at the beginning of the contract year
  • $200 membership stipend, available at the beginning of the contract year
  • Reimbursement for required DEA and OMB licenses, available at the beginning of the contract year

Additional benefits:

  • Medical, dental and vision insurance for fellow and dependents, available at the beginning of the contract year
