We are thrilled to announce the start of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Spokane (CAPFS). Our program builds on the outstanding reputation and exceptional educational opportunities of Psychiatry Residency Spokane (PRS) and is the result of an impressive community effort with ongoing support from local, regional, and state organizations / government. We are a growing community academic program with the goal to train well rounded clinicians and clinician educators. We believe that a fundamental aspect of being a psychiatrist is to be an educator to patients, families, colleagues, systems of care, and larger communities. CAPFS will provide training rooted in evidence-based medicine with emphasis on collaborative care, consultations, psychotherapy, telepsychiatry, and broad exposure to diverse levels of care (inpatient, partial hospital / intensive outpatient, and ambulatory).
