Why I chose Providence: I chose Providence Medical Group because the endless opportunities to work with a multi-disciplinary health care team focused on targeted disease state management surrounded with an academic teaching environment. The ability to further expand upon my skills as an ambulatory care pharmacist during this residency has continued to fuel my passion for improving the health of the community while developing relationships with patients to promote medication education.

Why I chose Providence: I chose Providence because it offers diverse learning opportunities and has a tight-knit interdisciplinary working environment. During my interview, I could tell how much preceptors are invested in the incoming resident’s learning and growth. I was confident that the autonomy of the PGY2 residency offered at Providence would shape me into a well-rounded and knowledgeable ambulatory care pharmacist.
