Meet our Current Residents

Hometown: Vancouver, Washington

Current Resident Project: Utilization of Clinical Pharmacists in an Ambulatory Care Setting to Improve Outcomes in patients with Irritable Bowel Disease.

Why I Chose Providence: I had the great pleasure of being on rotation here as an APPE student, and it completely changed the course of my career. I was not expecting to take the residency route, but after spending 6 weeks with Bridget and staff here, I reconsidered my options. The ability to practice with the many disease states they manage on top of anticoagulation gives you the sense your expertise will be utilized is several different fashions. I wanted a place I was happy to come to work every day, enjoy patient interaction, and expand my knowledge with the rotations and electives offered (including a teaching component at WSU College of Pharmacy) and this residency fit that description.

Professional Interests: Direct patient care, management and biologic therapy management

Personal Interests: I enjoy staying active, I run often and play lots of sports. I will dabble in outdoor activities but still a novice when it comes to camping and fishing. I enjoy geeking out on my Switch, watching my cat endlessly chase the laser pointer, and cooking meals that always fall short of the package instructions.
