The appointment period is 12 months from July 1 through June 30. The resident’s schedule includes staffing two weekends a month. There is an opportunity to staff once adequately trained. The residents will also participate in activities necessary for accreditation.
Compensation for the first year of residency is approximately $60,000. Benefits include full medical, dental and vision coverage as well as 14 days of paid vacation. Residency accommodations include their own work area, hospital cell phone/PDA, travel and registration reimbursements for residency related conferences.
