Why I chose Providence Regional Medical Center Everett: During my APPE rotations, I gained an interest in emergency medicine and exploring more acute care opportunities, leading to my desire to pursue residency. At first, I thought it was going to be difficult choosing a program. However, PRMCE offered everything I was looking for. With PRMCE's variety of acute care rotations to explore and one of the busiest emergency departments to learn from, I knew I was going to get the experience I wanted to grow as an independent and competent pharmacist. I am also interested in teaching, and I know PRMCE has plenty of opportunities through APPEs, IPPEs, and WIP. Then during my interview and meeting the encouraging (and fun) preceptor and admin team, the decision wasn't hard at all! Now, I am excited to learn and grow both professionally and personally this year with the PRMCE team!
