At PRMCE, we are dedicated to the organization’s Mission: As expressions of God's healing love, witnessed through the ministry of Jesus, we are steadfast in serving all, especially those who are poor and vulnerable through our Core Values of Compassion, Dignity, Justice, Excellence, and Integrity. As a resident at PRMCE, you will have the opportunity to develop the skills and experience needed to be an acute-care pharmacist by benefiting from our distinctive training program that takes advantage of a wide variety of rotations and learning experiences.
The program focuses on acute-care pharmacy practice, including transitions of care services, and you will practice in a variety of hospital environments. The resident will be able to staff independently in all areas and also precept students and interns through our affiliations with both the University of Washington and Washington State Schools of Pharmacy. In addition to teaching, you will have opportunities to participate in quality assurance projects, patient safety initiatives and analyze and present information. The goal is for the resident to develop into a mature, clinically confident clinician that proactively advocates for their patients.
Effective patient-centered, clinical pharmacy practice is a philosophy that’s supported across the entire Providence organization. Join us virtually to meet our pharmacy teams, receive an overview of each program’s curriculum and details, and an opportunity for questions and answers.
