The Swedish Sports Medicine Program offers an ACGME-accredited sports medicine fellowship for one family medicine and one physical medicine graduate per year. Our fellows participate in one of the few combined family medicine and physical medicine sports medicine fellowships in the country and learn in a truly interdisciplinary environment from both family medicine and physiatry faculty. Fellows work closely together; during the year to complete complete sports coverage responsibilities and required rotations including two months of elective time.
Our fellowship’s sponsoring residency program, Swedish Family Medicine Cherry Hill, is affiliated with the University of Washington. This provides our fellows with access to all university resources, including the nationally-renowned Health Sciences Library and an expansive online and on-campus library system.
