In addition to its regularly scheduled Continuing Medical Education activities, the Swedish Neuroscience Institute (SNI) hosts two courses annually that are specifically designed for residents and fellows. These courses provide access to the most up-to-date clinical information presented by nationally recognized neurosurgical experts from Swedish Medical Center and other well-known institutes.
SNI is fortunate to have the Seattle Science Foundation (SSF) as its partner in presenting these courses. SSF is a state-of-the-art bioskills and tele-education center located immediately adjacent to the SNI outpatient clinic.

Cost: The registration fee for this conference is covered by educational grants.
A lodging stipend for each attendee will be provided.
Description: This three-day conference is designed for residents and fellows who will graduate within two years. The course provides information about the latest advances in the science and art of surgical management of complex neurosurgical disorders. Topics may include endovascular techniques, skull-base approaches, functional mapping, advanced imaging, endoscopy and radiosurgery.

Description: This three-day conference is one of the premier courses for neurosurgical and orthopedic residents and fellows. The course supports the ONESpine concept of building consensus and cooperation among neurosurgical and orthopedic surgeons that improves spine care and patient outcomes. It is designed to present the latest advances in the neurosurgical treatment of spine diseases and disorders. Topics may include spine trauma and spinal cord injury; cervical spine; stabilization techniques; spinal tumors; deformity and disease management; and operating room performance.
