Prior to the start of the program, the resident shall be a graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) and shall have successfully completed a post graduate year 1 (PGY1) pharmacy residency that is either accredited or in candidate status. Residents are required to be licensed in the state of Washington prior to the start of the residency year.
The applicant shall meet all the requirements for employment and meet the professional requirements of Providence Medical Group. Strong residency candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, professionalism and leadership, and demonstrate a commitment to the provision of pharmaceutical care. Candidates must participate in the ASHP resident matching program.
Matched applicants are required to go through traditional HR screening including, but not limited to, a background check and drug screen. Matched candidates must meet requirements for provider credentialling and remain compliant with federal COVID-19 vaccination mandates.
