Phlebotomists at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett are on their feet, moving from room to room, collecting samples from all age populations and disease states. It is common to walk up to 6 miles during a shift. Due to patients needing testing results before providers start making rounds, it is common for phlebotomist shifts to start early in the morning and most include rotating weekends.
