Tuition/fees for the histotechnician certificate are determined by the University of North Dakota (UND). PSHMC histotechnician trainees receive on-the-job training pay during their clinical training experience.
The 2-3 semester program is part-time, primarily Monday-Friday. Training may occur on day or evening shift, arranged around current work schedules. Please inquire as to the annual training schedule prior to applying with UND.
Histotechnician trainees are eligible for the Providence EdAssist program; information accessible through the Providence internal HR portal. Additionally, students of the UND program may qualify for university-associated scholarships and grants. Visit the UND website for more information.
