Program Learning Experiences
- Formulary and benefits design, management, and implementation in compliance
with Medicare Part D regulations
- Participate and present at Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committees
and Interdisciplinary Care Teams (ICT)
- Review coverage determinations, appeals, and grievances
- Develop and manage Pharmacy Quality Programs to improve quality measure,
such as HEDIS and Medicare 5-star
- Perform Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Comprehensive Medication Reviews
(CMR), and Post-Discharge Medication Reconciliation
- Review data and utilize analytic tools to provide data-driven recommendations
- Chronic disease management and population health management
- Teaching skills professional development program

Research Project
- The resident is required to undertake a year-long project in addition to
various short-term projects assigned throughout the year. The project
will be presented at the Western States conference at the end of the residency year.
