The Residency Program is a full-time, four-unit CPE program designed for clergy, theological students and qualified laypersons. Chaplain residents are students of PSJH Southern California Center for CPE, accredited by ACPE, and term-limited employees of PSJH. They received a paid stipend, as well as the benefits, rights, privileges and responsibilities of PSJH employment. Upon successful completion of each unit, the chaplain resident’s participation in the program will be registered with ACPE on the recommendation of their certified CPE Educator.
