What Makes Humboldt County Special

What is it like to live “behind the Redwood Curtain?” Mostly, it is our sense of place. Located 300 miles north of San Francisco, between the rugged Pacific shore and the coastal mountains, are the last stands of virgin redwood forest. Wherever you are, you are never far from miles of open beach or groves of the tallest trees in the world. It is this, and the people who live here that makes our home special.
