Shayan brings a diverse and dynamic background to his path in medicine,
shaped by a global perspective and a wide range of life experiences. Born
in Tehran, Iran, and raised in the United States from the age of 12, Shayan
developed a strong ability to adapt, solve problems, and build meaningful
connections with people from different backgrounds.
Prior to pursuing medicine, he explored several roles—including work as an IT technician, Uber driver, photographer, and music producer—which helped him gain valuable insight into communication, creativity, and resilience. His interest in healthcare was solidified through volunteer work at a family clinic, where he discovered a passion for serving patients and supporting their well-being.
Shayan attended St. George’s University and is keeping an open mind as he continues his medical training, with a particular interest in sports medicine and helping patients stay active and healthy.
Outside of medicine, Shayan enjoys a variety of hobbies that reflect both his analytical and creative sides, including playing chess, producing music, playing soccer, and spending time outdoors.
