Joe is a dedicated and compassionate physician who earned his medical degree
from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Baguio City, Philippines.
Following graduation, he cultivated a strong interest in sports medicine
while working in a physical therapy clinic, where he developed a deep
appreciation for helping patients recover and regain function. He further
expanded his clinical experience through inpatient observerships, strengthening
his passion for supporting patients through acute and complex medical care.
Joe is particularly drawn to both sports medicine and inpatient care for the meaningful opportunity to guide patients through recovery and witness tangible improvements in their health and well-being. His approach to medicine is grounded in encouragement, resilience, and a belief in empowering patients throughout their healing journey.
Outside of medicine, Joe is passionate about staying active and promoting wellness through movement. He enjoys golfing, playing basketball, running, and surfing, and is a strong advocate for exercise as a foundation for overall health. He also brings a touch of creativity and joy to his interactions through his interest in learning simple magic tricks—an enthusiasm he discovered during his pediatric rotations.
