Dr. Shrawan Khadka was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal, surrounded
by pearly white mountains. Being an enthusiastic high altitude trekker,
Dr. Khadka was inspired to pursue medicine from a helicopter rescue during
one of his treks. During his medical training he was exposed to serving
in rural communities and has had a drive to return to a rural community.
He is excited to integrate into the Humboldt County and serve the local
community. In his personal time he enjoys trekking, exploring new places,
photography, and riding motorcycles. Most recently he has been to the
Everest Base Camp at 17,598 feet above sea level and hopes to one day
climb Everest.
