Dr. Amanda Munkres McDonald spent most of her growing years in Colorado
and New Mexico before moving to Flagstaff, Arizona for college. While
working as a certified nursing assistant during her undergraduate at Arizona
University, Dr. Munkres McDonald developed a passion to pursue medicine
further. She graduated from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic
Medicine in Arizona as a National Health Service Corps Scholar. She is
deeply committed to practicing in primary care in underserved areas. Her
focus is outpatient care for all ages with specific interests in behavioral
health and gender affirming care. In her free time, Dr. Munkres McDonald
enjoys time with her husband, cat, and two dogs. She also enjoys traveling
to new places, reading, painting, and going to the beach.
