Dr. In Sook "Grace" Kim was born and raised in South Korea. After
graduating from Konkuk University School of Medicine, she pursued a career
as an internist and gastroenterologist/hepatologist. During this time,
Dr. Kim focused on preventive care in gastrointestinal cancer, especially
early gastric and colon cancer using invasive endoscopic procedures. After
immigrating to the USA, she sough to find her professional identity in
the middle of covid era. Dr. Kim worked as a medical assistant and geriatric
fellow, learning the U.S. healthcare system and serving her community.
Seeing the lack of accessibility and affordibility, as well as inequality
in healthcare, Dr. Kim has pursued family medicine with a passion, seeking
a desire to spread the message of hope using what she has learned. In
her free time, she enjoys reading books, dog-grooming, traveling, and walking.
