Rebecca Slingwine earned her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, Florida. She then completed her Family Medicine residency at the Montana Family Medicine Residency (MFMR) in Billings, Montana, where she embraced comprehensive training in rural, full-spectrum care. She further expanded her expertise through a Surgical Obstetrics fellowship in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Following her training, Rebecca provided full-spectrum Family Medicine, including surgical obstetrics, in rural Southeast Wyoming. She is deeply passionate about rural healthcare and is thrilled to join the Lost Coast Family Medicine Residency. Rebecca is especially excited to mentor and inspire the next generation of physicians by sharing her dedication to and love for rural practice.
Outside of medicine, Rebecca enjoys a full and joyful home life with her husband and young children. In her free time, she finds happiness in gardening, riding her horses, and spending time with her lively group of animals—including her Husky mix, cats, and her spirited Shetland Sheepdogs, who always keep life fun and engaging.
