Program Operating Model
This program is individually operated, individually managed, and individually
controlled by Providence Alaska Medical Center. This program is individually
certified by the appropriate accrediting authority, and accredited by
the recognized national professional organization for the particular activity.
Providence Alaska Medical Center issues the degree, diploma, or other
approved certificate upon successful completion of the approved education
program, with the diplomas issued in the name of Providence Alaska Medical Center.
Providence Alaska Medical Center directly incurs the training costs of
this approved education program. Providence Alaska Medical Center has
direct control of the program curriculum. Providence Alaska Medical Center
controls the administration of the program at the hospital level, including
the collection of tuition, control and maintenance of the payroll records
of teaching staff and/or students, and is responsible for the day-to-day
teaching program operation. Providence Alaska Medical Center employs the
teaching staff. Providence Alaska Medical Center provides and controls
both classroom instruction (where classroom instruction is a requirement
for program completion) and clinical training.
